What
is Go Talk? |
|
Go
Talk is a voice out communication device. You can take it to
anywhere: work, home, playground. Itユs light, rugged and easy
to use. Go Talk can be used for language education as well.
A message is played back by pressing on its message key. The
user can draw pictures or letters on overlays and slide them
into the slot. The user can press an appropriate message key
by looking an overlay. A message is played when the user touches
the pictures or letters on a message key.
Go Talk has three primary uses.
First, as an augmentative communication
device.
Second, to cue someone on what to do next or what will be needed
for an activity.
Third, as a learning tool that complements and reinforces an
educational curriculum.
In practice, you will find these uses will overlap. |

Top left and middle message keys have 15 seconds each for longer
recording.
Other keys have 8 seconds each. "Hi, How are you?"
lasts only three seconds. You can use remaining 5 seconds for
other messages.
Recorded messages remain even when batteries lose power.
Recording over a message erases the previous one. For a blank
message key, begin the normal recording process, press the message
key you want blank, then immediately press another message key
to stop recording. |
